Intesis Software provides innovative solutions for home & building automation. To support our growth, we are hiring a Technical Sales Engineer Junior.
This person will be responsible for selling technical products (B2B) in the Building/Home Automation sector through the achievement of opportunity-based quotas, reaching sales targets through excellent communications skills especially expressed via detailed email and telephone sales.
Instead of a reactive approach to incoming leads (answering incoming mails and telephone calls), this person will also be encouraged to develop his/her proactive activity through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers, in autonomy and / or according to Sales Area Manager indications.
Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.
The selected candidate will be part of young and motivated team located between Igualada and Barcelona.
Job Duties:
· Advice and support the customer through a consulting sales process for technical products.
· Conduct regular customer review calls and follow up as necessary.
· Close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying, updating and entering information in CRM.
· Send commercial offers choosing the right product answering customers´ needs.
· Follow up on open opportunities and commercial offers.
· Being in the office, represent an "always reachable person" for customer needs especially when Sales Area Manager is out of office in business trips.
· Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities together with Sales Area Manager.
· Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
· Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
· Maintain and improve quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures.
· Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities (according to candidate's profile and Company needs).
· Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Minimum Requirements:
· Electronics / Telecommunication Engineer.
· Excellent level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
· Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member Skills: Meeting Sales Goals, Client base, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Technical Understanding, Building relationships, People Skills, Data Entry Skills, Customer Focus, Professionalism, Motivation for Sales.
Other additional skills and experience that will be highly considered:
· Good level of other languages like German or French.
· Previous experience in sales or customer service, especially with technical products for building/home automation.
· Knowledge of BA technologies (BACnet, KNX, DALI, etc.)
· Working knowledge of ERP/CRM.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
